Should State Schools Sell Beer at College Football Stadiums?

Iowa Patches asked its readers if they would be in favor of expanding beer and wine sales at Iowa's three public universities. Gov. Terry Branstad said he thought people drank enough outside the stadium already.

One reader suggested selling alcohol in the stadium for a high price and using the proceeds to pay off the national debt.

Another said, “I think allowing selling beer inside could help the phenomenon of trying to 'load up' on too much beer before you go into the stadium.”
