Where to Vote Early in Ames and Story County

People began voting early in Story County Thursday at the Story County Auditor's office in Nevada and can continue to do so from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Nov. 5.

Satellite voting locations will also be set up throughout the county, at Ames assisted living facilities, grocery stores, the library and on Iowa State University campus.

Ballots for all precincts will be available at all locations except for assisted living facilities.

In Ames people can vote early from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dahl's Oct. 13 and Oct. 27; and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ames Public Library Nov. 3.

Several early voting locations will be available from Oct. 15 through Oct. 19 on Iowa State University campus.

People who can't make those times can also vote at the auditor's office which is at the Story County Administration Building, 900 6^th Street, Nevada, IA 50201.

The Auditor’s Office will also be open a few Saturdays --- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 27 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 3. Early voting ends 5 p.m. Nov. 5.
