Ankeny's Otter Creek Closes For The Season Sunday
The Pro Shop at Otter Creek will remain open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays for golf merchandise and gift certificate sales.
ANKENY, IA — Golf enthusiasts have just a few more days to enjoy a round of golf at Otter Creek Golf Course; the course will officially close for the season on Sunday, Nov. 19. The bad news? Rain is in the forecast for Friday and Saturday.
Chances of rain are 59 percent on Friday and 74 percent Saturday morning, but Sunday should be dry with a high of 43 degrees.
The golf course is owned by the City of Ankeny. The Otter Creek Pro Shop will remain open to sell holiday gift certificates and golf merchandise. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
