Officers say they later found a short-barreled shotgun in his truck, leading to multiple felony weapons charges, a no-contact order violation allegation, and a cash-only bond at the Des Moines County Jail.
   

4. West Burlington woman found with meth during traffic stop (kwqc.com) — A West Burlington resident faces drug and driving charges after Des Moines County deputies say a traffic stop led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine late on Dec. 10. According to the sheriff’s office, a K-9 alerted during the stop and a baggie allegedly fell from the woman’s pocket as she removed her keys, leading to her arrest.
