18-Year-Old Arrested Following Waterloo Shooting That Sent Two to Hospital

A California man and a Waterloo man were injured and one man has been arrested following a shooting in Waterloo on Thursday.

Police have arrested an 18-year-old Waterloo man following a shooting on Thursday night.

No one was killed, but two people were injured, according to Waterloo police.

Tereall Deshawn Green, 18, of 2756 E. Fourth St. in Waterloo, has been arrested on three charges. Green was charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, willful injury and felon in possession of a firearm.

He is currently being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on $500,000 bond.

Police responded to Allen Hospital at about 11:30 p.m., Thursday for a report of two gunshot victims being treated in the emergency department. Police say the shooting happened at 1228 Columbia St. in Waterloo.

Anthony Kyle O'Donnell, 24, of Heyword, CA and Clifton NMN Sallis, 36, of Waterloo, were injured in the shooting. Police say O'Donnell was shot in the forearm and bicep, and Sallis was shot in the chest.

O'Donnell was treated and released, while Sallis was in surgery and still is being treated at Allen, police said in a news release at 6 a.m. Contacted this afternoon, police said they had no new information to update.
