Bob Kressig, whose district covers northern Cedar Falls, says he won’t seek reelection and will retire in January 2027. Kressig, a Democrat serving since 2005, highlighted his work on education, medical cannabis, workers’ rights, and mental health, and emphasized his ongoing commitment to the community he’s called home for decades.
