A New High School? Issue Back on Cedar Falls School Board's Plate This Week

The Cedar Falls School Board will meet twice this week. Here are the agendas.

The Cedar Falls School Board will again consider the issue of whether or not the district needs a new high school at a work session Tuesday.

The work session comes as the Board decides whether or not to endorse a plan for a new school. An alternative would be a renovation of the building, which is over 50 years old. The proposed new building would come with a $73 million price tag, compared with an estimated $56 million to renovate.

The Board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the James L. Robinson Administrative Center, 1002 W. First St.
