Alleged Burglar Caught Thanks to Vigilant Neighbor: Cedar Falls Police Blotter

A Cedar Falls man was charged with third degree burglary after police said he broke into a home on the 3700 block of Briarwood Drive and took prescription drugs.

Eric Shaun Hunt, 30, of 3916 Sturgis Drive, was arrested March 26 at 10:01 a.m. at the .

Police said on March 22 a neighbor saw a man entering the home Hunt allegedly broke into and took a picture of the burglar's car.

Police said Hunt came willingly to the police station Marc 26 and admitted to driving to the home, entering through an unlocked door and taking prescription medicine, specifically Tramadol, a painkiller, from a bathroom.

Sandina Hadziric, 18, female, of Waterloo, arrested at 12:11 p.m. at 214 Viking Plaza Drive, charged with fourth degree theft.
