Annual Cedar Valley Christmas Program Set For Nov. 27

The holiday concert will include symphony brass and choruses from area churches and schools, plus a carols sing with the audience.

CEDAR FALLS, IA — An annual holiday sing-along and concert featuring choruses from across the Cedar Valley and the Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony brass will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. The program is presented in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of the Cedar Valley and will benefit both organizations’ music education programs.

The symphony’s brass ensemble will perform, the Boys & Girls Club Kids will sing with the St. Luke Episcopal Choir and nine additional choirs will perform. The concert will end with "Hallelujah" and a carols sing-along with the audience.

  • Waverly-Shell Rock High School Chamber Choir: In dulci jubilo
  • St. Edwards Celebration Singers: Will We Know Him
  • First Congregational UCC Waterloo Chancel Choir: Hark! the Herald Angels Sing

A cookies and cocoa reception with musical entertainment precedes the concert at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $5 per person and are available at area Hy-Vee stores or at www.cedarvalleyclubs.org.
