ARTapalooza 2012 Schedule, List of Participating Artists

From Community Main Street:

The seventh annual ARTapalooza fine art show will be held Sat., Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the street and sidewalks of downtown Cedar Falls. 

Held annually, the juried show brings many talented artists from throughout the region. In addition, there is something for every one to enjoy as downtown is filled with a fine selection of art, artist demonstrations, entertainment and children activities.

MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE

100 Block – At
    •    10:00 – 11:30  - Rick Vanderwall - guitar
    •    1:00  - 2:30  – Uncle Chuck - guitar
    •    2:30 – 4:00  - Karla Ruth - guitar

200 Block – At

300 Block - At and other places:

Fourth and Main – “On the Green”
    •    9:30 – 10:30 - Jazz Band
    •    10:45 - 11:15 – UNI Suzuki School of Music
    •    11:30 – 12:30 – The Channel Cats
    •    1:00 – 1:45 – The Channel Cats
    •    2:00 – 2:45 - Jazz Band
    •    3:00 – 4:00 – The Channel Cats

CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES

    •    9:00-4:00 – Face painting, easel painting and hand
          made tiles available courtesy of Friends of the
    •    11:00-1:30 - WCF Symphony Instrument Zoo
    •    1:00-2:30 - Anna Love, Looney Balloons at
          (200 block)
    •    2:00 - Block children's activities
          (Front of Jiva Salon Spa)
    •    Thi Chi demonstrations every hour on the hour
    •    Legos and music all day (200 block)
 
Many merchants will also have special art projects for children and adults throughout the day.

ARTapalooza on Main has become a popular show for area artists.  Artists hoping to showcase must pass a highly competitive process to be accepted into the show. The following artists have been accepted into the September 8 show:
