Black Hawks Plan 'Pink Out' Game in Honor of Lyric and Elizabeth

The Waterloo Black Hawks hockey team will honor Evansdale cousins Elizabeth Collins, 9, and Lyric Cook-Morrissey, 11, at tonight's game.
The girls disappeared while riding their bikes in Evansdale July 13. Authorities believe they were abducted.
On Thursday, officials announced they were "confident" two bodies found in a wilderness area in Bremer County on Wednesday were the girls. Authorities are awaiting official forensic identification from the Office of the Medical Examiner in Ankeny.

Tonight's game is a "Pink Out." Attendees are asked to wear pink in honor of the cousins. There will also be a moment of silence before the game.
The team will wear stickers commemorating the girls on their helmets throughout the rest of the season.

The game, against the Indiana Ice, begins at 7:05 p.m. at the Young Arena in Waterloo. Doors open at 6:05 p.m.
