The photos are meant to celebrate Iowa's cultural heritage, so if you're looking for some Iowa love after that went on last week, this is the place for you. They'll be up through Jan. 21. Sexual Assault Review:
The state's three public universities are reviewing policies for preventing child abuse, in response to child sexual assault cases at Penn State and Syracruse Universities. The Omaha World Herald reports UNI is going a step further and is conducting a wide-ranging review to determine whether its practices comply with the Title IX law, which bans gender discrimination in public education, possibly in response to treatment of a woman allegedly assaulted by two football players in 2004.
