Cedar Falls Offices Closed on Thanksgiving and Black Friday

From city of Cedar Falls:

Cedar Falls offices closed Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, 2012 for holiday.

Thursday, November 22, 2012 and Friday, November 23, 2012 are holidays for Cedar Falls City employees. There will be no garbage collection on these days. Residents having Thursday as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Residents having Friday as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, November 24, 2012.

There will be no large item pickup during this week because of the holidays. Large item pickup will resume on Monday, November 26, 2012.

The Seasonal Compost Facility will be closed November 22nd and 23rd. It will reopen Saturday November 24, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

As a reminder to residents, yard waste pickup on Mondays beginning December through the end of March 2013 will be on a call-in basis. Please call 319-273-8629 to make arrangements for pickup.
