Robert Michael Mether, 52, male, of La Porte City, arrested at 4:39 p.m. at 312 Savannah Park Road, charged with simple assault.

Jasmine Nicole Simmons, 19, female, of Waterloo, arrested at 5:13 p.m. at 525 Brandilynn Blvd., charged with fifth degree theft.
