Cedar Falls Police Respond to Report of Person With a Gun

Cedar Falls Police were dispatched to 205 West Gate Avenue at around 3 a.m. Saturday on a report of a person with a gun.

Police said it was determined the person was still in the residence. Neighbors were notified and told to stay in their residences.

The Major Incident Response Team was activated to assist officers on the call.  The person was detained and taken to local hospital for observation.  The investigation continues into the incident.
