Cedar Falls Resident Hospitalized in Hardin County Accident
The Iowa Department of Transportation said driver Ashtyn Reed, 23, fell asleep at the wheel while heading westbound on Highway 20 at around 9:30 a.m. Monday.

A Cedar Falls resident was hospitalized after their car vaulted over a railroad bridge and rolled in a Hardin County accident.
The Iowa Department of Transportation said driver Ashtyn Reed, 23, fell asleep at the wheel while heading westbound on Highway 20 at around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
Authorities said Reed's 1992 Lincoln came to rest on the west end of the railroad tracks.
Reed was transported to the hospital in Iowa Falls. Reed's condition was not released.
