Cedar Falls Weather Forecast: Ready for Winter? Freezing Temps, Flurries This Week

The National Weather Services predicts temperatures will dip into the teens this week with the possibility of flurries.

It was warm enough on Saturday to grab an ice cream cone or think about taking a dip at the pool or hit the park.

Unfortunately, it will not last, according to the National Weather Service.

We may see flurries today and the temperature could drop to 16 degrees over night tonight. But that should be as cold as it gets this week, according to the seven-day forecast.

During the day today, the high is only expected to reach 34 degrees, and could feel cooler with up to 28 mph wind gusts. Snow flurries are possible between noon and 3 p.m.

Tuesday, should be mostly sunny and around 43 degrees, and an overnight temperature again below freezing at 27 degrees.

By Wednesday, the chill should subside. 

Wednesday through Saturday the day times are expected to have some sun with temperatures in the high 40s or low 50s, and the overnights should be in the 30s but not below freezing.
