Cedar Falls Weather: Hold On, It'll Be Bitterly Cold Today, But a Better Forecast is On the Way
Sure it's -2 degrees right now, but Iowa's weather is just crazy enough to jump 30 degrees in the right direction this week.

Things are looking up for weather this coming week.
Sure there isn't a lot of hope when the National Weather Service says wind chill will improve to reaching zero degrees tonight:Â
Tonight: Scattered flurries between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m., then occasional light snow after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 7. Wind chill values as low as zero. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

But do not abandon hope for the weather getting better, as the weather forecast for this week is a gradual warming trend, with a high near 22 degrees tomorrow (more then double today's projected high temp of 10 degrees) and that trend continuing to the mid 30s by Sunday and Monday. There are chances for snow today through Friday.
So bundle up and pour another cup of hot chocolate, and we may just survive this cold snap.
