Congratulations:

Patch offers big congratulations to the more than 600 students who earned their degrees at the University of Northern Iowa this fall. The commencement ceremony is 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the McLeod Center. Hats off to you, graduates!

Two holiday movies will be screened this weekend. Here's what you need to know.

White Christmas:

The will screen White Christmas Saturday at 2 p.m. For $5, enjoy the tale of a post-WWII song and dance act. The event is part of the Gallagher's inspirational film series, so you can expect to leave feeling, well, inspired.

Jingle All the Way:

Feeling like something more contemporary? At 10 a.m., you watch Arnold Schwarzenegger wig out a free screening of Jingle All the Way at the , as part of Holiday Hoopla fare.

Deck the House:

After all that holiday cheer, string up some lights, snap a picture, and enter Patch's Deck the House competition. You could net $100,000 for Cedar Falls Schools.
