Cedar Falls Woman Hurt in Crash Near Mason City
A deer-vehicle collision early Monday sent a woman to the hospital.

A Cedar Falls woman was injured when her minivan collided with a deer early Monday, the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reported.
The Iowa State Patrol said Angela Christine Lalan, 40, suffered "non-incapacitating" injuries when her northbound minivan hit a deer on Interstate 35 in Cerro Gordo County. The accident, around 4:35 a.m. Monday, sent the minivan into the ditch and caused the airbag to deploy.
Lalan was transported to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa in Mason City.
