Monday Delays Announced in Cedar Valley as Icy Conditions Continue

Cedar Falls Schools have a two hour delay Monday.

A winter storm covered roads with ice Sunday, making driving conditions dangerous across Iowa.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning lasting through midnight Sunday and said light freezing drizzle and areas of fog will persist throughout the evening hours.

Other Cedar Valley delays announced as of 8 p.m. Sunday include two hour delays for Valley Lutheran School, St. Patrick's School and Preschool, Cedar Valley Catholic Schools and Waterloo Schools as well as Hawkeye Community College opening at 10 a.m. Find a full list of cancellations and delays from around Eastern Iowa at KWWL's website.
