Upcoming Cedar Valley Honor Flight Now Open to Korean War Veterans
The honor flight flies from Waterloo to Washington D.C. so area veterans can tour the memorials in their honor.
An upcoming honor flight will be open to Korean War Veterans, KWWL reported.
The Honor Flight sends veterans to Washington D.C., to tour the memorials built in their honor. In about a year, 350 Cedar Valley World War II veterans have made the flight from the Waterloo Airport.
The next flight will be Sept. 18. Interested veterans should pick up an application at any in Waterloo, Cedar Falls or Waverly. Applications should be in by August 17.
