Update: Authorities are seeking a paddleboater who was believed to be on Meyers Lake when two girls from Evansdale disappeared July 13.
An FBI spokesperson said the boater is not considered a suspect, but may have information that could help the investigation into the disappearance of Elizabeth Collins, 8, and Lyric Cook-Morrissey, 10.
Authorities also want to speak with anyone who was at Meyers Lake before 3 p.m. on July 13.

“Even if you think you don’t have any information that is important to this case, investigators want to talk to you,” said Sandra Breault, a FBI spokeswoman, during a Sunday press conference, according to the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier. “Don’t assume we know what you know.”
A $50,000 award is being offered for information that leads to the girls, who were last seen riding their bikes near the lake July 13.
Anyone with information or who was at the lake that day should call the tip-line at (319) 232-6682.
