Assistant County Attorney Linda Fangman indicated the state will be seeking a suspended sentence with probation, and the defense will ask for a deferred judgment that would take the conviction off Gogola’s record if he successfully completes his probation.
First-degree theft is punishable by up to ten years in prison, but sentencing will take place later. Gogola remains free on bond.
