Freezing Drizzle Headed For Cedar Falls This Afternoon, Overnight
Be careful when driving today, roads could be slick. Here's what you need to know.

With steady snow continuing to fall on the Cedar Valley, drivers are warned to take it slow this afternoon. The National Weather Service reports freezing drizzle could hit Cedar Falls today, starting after 3 p.m.
With the temperature expected to hover around the freezing point, roads could be dangerously slick, though little or no ice accumulation is expected. The Iowa Department of Transportation reported the roads around Cedar Falls as partially covered early Monday afternoon.
The snow and cold may be with us throughout the week, and potential snowfall is predicted Wednesday and Thursday.

Tonight: A chance of snow and freezing drizzle before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 24 degrees Fahrenheit. Southwest wind between three and eight miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
