Speeds Approach 150 MPH in Motorcycle Chase That Ends in Cedar Falls
Iowa State Patrol troopers said a Waterloo man led officers on a chase reaching speeds up to 150 mph.
A high-speed chase ended with a crash in Cedar Falls on Monday.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reported Matthew Temple, 24, of Waterloo, was cited for traffic violations after he refused to stop when an Iowa State Patrol officers attempted to pull him over for a traffic infraction on Highway 218, north of Greenhill Road.
Temple, who was on a motorcycle, allegedly led officers on a chase reaching speeds up to 150 mph before colliding with a squad car at 18th Street and Hudson Road. He was cited for traffic violations. No injuries were reported.
