Iowa Hunters Asked to Watch for Missing Evansdale Cousins
Lyric Cook-Morrissey and Elizabeth Collins have now been missing for over three months.
As hunters walk through Iowa's fields and woods this fall, they are being asked to look for signs of two missing girls.
Evansdale cousins Lyric Cook-Morrissey, 11, and Elizabeth Collins, 9, have been missing since July, when they disappeared while riding their bikes.
Now, friends of their family want hunters to help with the search. Hunting parties can double as search parties, looking for any evidence of foul play.

Iowa DNR Conservation Officer Chris Jones told KWWL hunters are often part of search parties because they know the countryside well and are more likely to notice if something is out of the ordinary:
"With what we've got going on right now, I think this is an excellent opportunity. A lot of the areas don't see anybody in there for a lot of the year. And then come fall, all the sudden they're getting flooded with hunters," said Jones.
