John Deere Power Systems in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Product Designer - 3D Model Assembly Integrator to verify Pro/E models in order to meet Global John Deere engineering standards.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to:

• Train/mentor new employees with Deere Pro/E best practices.
• Create and maintain all configuration skeleton models and layout files.
• Create & maintain EBOM Assemblies per request & Template assemblies.
• Maintain Option/Sub Assembly structure in conjunction with PDMLink.
• Provide support for delivery of engine models to equipment divisions.
• Administrate Integrator responsible files in PDMLink.
• Request and assist with supplier geometry and or purchased part & assembly work.
• Request and maintain non JDPS design controlled parts while including the following:
  • Set correct release level
  • Set design control
  • Set correct revision
  • Fill in necessary model parameters
• Verify Assemblies are ready for Ebuild/Release.
• Support Engineers/Designers with modeling. 
• Create Envelope models for simplification where needed.
• Bring Tier I or Tier II options up to date for PDMLink.
• Satisfy work request sent via e-mail from PDM systems group.
• Assist in developing and approving new Top Down modeling standards and design practices.
• Work with the Engine Engineering IT group and the Modeling Community of Practice team.
• Create engine installation drawings for OEM customers as requested.
• Create and maintain OEM option drawings as requested.
