Lang, Rastetter Re-Elected to Regents Leadership Positions
The president and president pro tem were reelected to their positions in the Iowa Board of Regents without opposition.
The leadership of the Iowa Board of Regents was unanimously re-elected by the regents at their meeting on the today.
Craig Lang was re-elected as board president and Bruce Rastetter was re-elected as president pro tem. They were elected for a two-year term commencing May 1 and ending April 30, 2014. They were first elected to the posts in July 2011.
"Thank you. I find this position very challenging," Lang told the board. "I think this is an extremely strong board and I want to thank all of you for your time that you give to the public."

No one else was nominated for either position.
Lang is president and CEO of The Prairie Strategy Group. Rastetter currently serves as CEO of Summit Group.
