Man Convicted of Killing Cedar Falls Woman Denied Appeal

Tonch Weldon is serving life in prison for the death of Amy Gephart.

A man who killed Amy Gephart, a Cedar Falls woman, lost an appeal of his first-degree murder conviction Wednesday, The Associated Press reported.

Tonch Weldon is serving life in prison for Gephart's death.

Gephart, 35, was reportedly involved in a three-way relationship with Weldon and his wife. Weldon allegedly shot Gephart in June 2009 after his wife said she was going to leave him for Gephart.
