Police: Man Punches Car Mirrors, Runs: Cedar Falls Police Blotter

A Cedar Falls man was arrested after allegedly punching out the side mirrors of four cars.

arrested Nathan Christian Butler, 19, of 1929 Olive St., at 2:13 a.m. Jan. 29 at 1800 Tremont St.

Police said Butler had been drinking and was walking down 18th Street, punching out the side mirrors of cars as he went. They said he then began running in between houses toward Tremont Street. He was charged with four counts fourth degree criminal mischief and one count consumption in public/intox.

Raymond Junior Fuller, 53, male, of 2211-4 Manor Ave., arrested at 10:20 p.m. at the 100 block of East 18th Street, charged with habitual offender/barred.

Jan. 28:

Gregory Jonathan Merritt, 26, male, of 9614-205K University Ave., arrested at 2:49 a.m. at 18th Street and Hudson Road, charged with operating while intoxicated/drugged first.

Shannon Mae Breyfogle, 19, female, of Parkersburg, arrested at 2:25 p.m. at Hy-Vee, 6301 University Ave., charged with fifth degree theft.

Alan Russell McCrary, 38, male, of 4117-40A University Ave., arrested at same location at 9:51 p.m., charged with criminal trespass and harassment/third.

Jan. 30:

Rory Allen Even, 29, male, of Evansdale, arrested at 12:05 a.m. at the 300 block of Main Street, charged with interference/no injury and consumption in public/intox.
