Report: Peregrine's Wasendorf Married Two Weeks Ago in Las Vegas

Russell Wasendorf Sr. married Nancy Paladino on June 30 in Las Vegas, less than two weeks before reportedly attempting to committ suicide outside Peregrine Financial Group in Cedar Falls.

The marriage record was filed July 6 in the Clark County, NV county recorder's office, the Wall Street Journal is reporting.

Wasendorf, the CEO and founder of Peregrine Financial Group, PFGBest, apparently attempted to committ suicide Monday morning. A allegedly led to the discovery of from the company's U.S. Bank account.

Wasendorf and Paladino had been planning an August ceremony at in Cedar Falls.

Three days after the Las Vegas wedding, Wasendorf's son, Russell Wasendorf Jr., over his father, according to bankruptcy papers Wasendorf Jr. filed Tuesday.
