Photos: Cedar Falls Enjoys Thousands of Wings at Chamber's Wing Ding and Things Event
Wing Ding and Things is a popular annual event put on by the Greater Cedar Valley Alliance and Chamber.
It was a great day for people Thursday night in Cedar Falls. But maybe not a great day for chicken.
An estimated 1600 people turned out to feast on wings for the 14th annual Greater Cedar Valley Chamber and Alliance Wing Ding and Things.
The event, featuring music by Bob Dorr and the Blue Band, showcased seven food vendors who each donated their services to the Chamber fundraiser. , The Supervisors Club, , Cookie Crave, and Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo all served food for the Overman Park event. The menu? Ice cream, cookies, burgers, chilli and, of course, lots and lots of wings.
