Photos: Diversity Not Just About Race At Cedar Falls Fair

A variety of booths at the University of Northern Iowa Diversity Fair demonstrated the range of issues that touch on diversity.

A range of booths at the Diversity Fair today illustrated the fact that diversity in the Cedar Valley is not just about race or ethnic background.

The photo gallery highlights some of the participants. Alongside the booth for the Black Student Union, there were booths for individuals living with disabilities, gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gender Iowans and booths celebrating diversity of religious beliefs - and non-beliefs, as with the UNI Freethinkers and Inquirers table.

There was even a booth dedicated to a diversity of immune systems. That was the Center for Energy and Environmental Education, promoting information about pesticides and other environmental toxins and the effects they can have on different immune systems.
