Photos: Huge Crowd Turned Out for Cedar Falls-Waterloo Fireworks Festival
For the first time, the Cedar Falls and Waterloo Jaycees combined efforts to put on a single Fourth of July show for the metro, complete with live music and a carnival.
What to do first? Visit the llama, goats and chickens in the petting zoo? Take on the rides in the carnival? Watch the live music? Devour funnel cakes and smoothies? Or just relax on the grass and wait for the fireworks to start?
With so many activities to draw people in, the first ever combined Cedar Falls-Waterloo fireworks show and festival, put on the Jaycees, was a roaring success. Thousands poured into the Cattle Congress grounds for the Fourth of July celebration.
