The Quakerdale Discovery Network is a new direction for the organization, which has been serving at-risk youth in the Cedar Valley for over 30 years.

Press release from Quakerdale:
Quakerdale, an area non-profit, has launched The Quakerdale Discovery Network, a new initiative aimed at connecting people in need with resources.
“We are going to use technology to get people connected with the resources that they need to live life at the fullest,” said Quakerdale Development Director, Dan Smith.

Smith went on to portray a scenario to the crowd where The Quakerdale Discovery Network could be used.
“Let’s say you have someone in need and they do not know where to turn,” Smith explained. “They can go online to find a participating church on the Quakerdale Discovery Network website. The church will shoot out a request on the network where resource partners will receive notifications. The church will then partner the person in need with a resource partner to fill their need.”

“There are many people in need in our community,” said Quakerdale Cedar Valley Regional Representative, Lalaina Rabary. “But I also know there are a lot of caring hearts that are willing to help, they just don’t know how. This will allow people to be supported beyond their needs.”
The Quakerdale Discovery Network is available for the public and powered by Far Reach technologies. For more information visit the website at www.quakerdalediscoverynetwork.net.
