Search for Missing Evansdale Girls Returns to Meyers Lake

FBI investigators today returned to Meyers Lake where cousins Elizabeth Collins, 9, and Lyric Cook-Morrissey, 10, both of Evansdale, went missing on July 13.

They were searching the woods around the lake, but found "no positive results," the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports.

A dive team had searched the lake but found nothing shortly after their disapearance, which authorities are calling an abduction. Officials have said the girls are not in the lake.

on Friday, July 13, and their bicycles were discovered later that afternoon on a trail next to the lake.
