Sheriff's Office: Cedar Falls Woman Had Meth Lab Items in Car

A Waterloo traffic stop led to an arrest after officers allegedly found meth lab items in a Cedar Falls woman's car.
The Black Hawk County Sheriff's office said a deputy stopped a car driven by Nancy Reese, 33, of Cedar Falls, in the 300 block of Glendale Street in Waterloo, around 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23. Officials said a canine unit was requested during the traffic stop.
A Waterloo Police Officer arrived to assist, and his K9 partner allegedly indicated the odor of narcotics inside the vehicle, officials said. Searching the car, officers allegedly found several items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine, officials said.

Reese was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, a Class C felony.
Officials said the meth lab items were disposed of by the Tri-County Drug Task Force.
