Snow Emergency Declared to Clear Snow from Parkade and College Hill Thursday Night

Announcement from Community Main Street:

Public Works will begin hauling snow from the Parkade and College Hill area beginning with the Parkade at 11 p.m., Thursday, January 3.

Crews will work through the night to remove windrows and piles of snow from these locations. A Snow Emergency will be invoked at 8 p.m. allowing for enforcement of no “on street” parking beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday, January 3. 

Businesses open in the later evening hours, please inform your employees so they may inform patrons of the ordinance going into effect prior to 10 p.m.

Public parking lots will not be affected by the ordinance and can be utilized as a parking alternative.
