From the news of Evansdale cousins Lyric Cook-Morrissey and Elizabeth Collins' bodies being found to the horrific shooting in Newtown, Conn., there is a lot of bad news circulating lately.

Scroll down to number 25, and you'll see two familiar faces, Cedar Falls natives Taylor Morris and Danielle Kelly.

Morris, an explosive disposal expert with the Navy, was injured in a bomb blast in Afghanistan, loosing parts of all four limbs. His girlfriend Kelly has been by his side throughout his recovery, which has included learning to walk again on prosthetic legs.
Buzz Feed names them, "The amazing couple who stuck together through unbelievable odds." As of Monday afternoon, the post had been viewed over 4 million times.
We're glad a story that originated in Cedar Falls is helping restore a little hope.
