Time, Place, How to Get Tickets for Obama's Waterloo Visit

The President will visit the Cedar Valley next week as part of a three-day tour of the state.


President Barack Obama will speak at the RiverLoop Amphitheater at the Waterloo Center for the Arts in downtown Waterloo next week.

Doors are scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m. for the Tuesday event. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Tickets will be distributed Saturday, August 11 starting at 12 p.m. at the Obama campaign office in Waterloo, 512 S. Mulberry St.

The campaign swing in Iowa next week will be the President's fifth visit to the state this year and it will be his longest single visit to any state in this election year.

Obama's three-day tour will begin Monday in Council Bluffs and Boone. Tuesday he will meet with supporters in Oskaloosa, Marshalltown before heading to Waterloo. Wednesday stops in Dubuque and Davenport are also planned.
