Playing in Youngstown, OH, Youngstown went up 21-7 early in the contest, but UNI marched back with three unanswered scores to take a 28-21 lead in the third quarter. After trading touchdowns, UNI had the advantage early in the fourth quarter, but couldn't hang on.
The Penguins scored twice more, including on a 26-yard touchdown pass play with 1:50 remaining. The Panthers drove down the field, but time expired before they could put points on the board.

UNI falls to 1-3, while Youngstown improved to 4-0. UNI next plays North Dakota State (3-0) at the UNI-Dome at 6 p.m. (central) on Saturday.
