• UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital needs individuals to greet and guide individuals to their destination, provide hospitality in a waiting room or assist in the gift shop. Volunteers age 14 and over are welcome.
• Alternatives Pregnancy Center needs volunteers to serve as a receptionist. This volunteer opportunity includes responsibilities such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing and possibly helping with mailings. This position requires strict confidentiality. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• Volunteers for the Back to School Program are needed to take sign-ups, pick up supplies, sort and count supplies, prepare supplies for distribution and help with distribution at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank and Lou Henry Elementary School. Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday. Volunteers age 18 and over are preferred, although younger volunteers may participate with a parent.
• The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cedar Valley needs individuals to assist with overnight campouts. Boys Session 1 is July 15-16, 22-23, and 29-30 and Girls Session 1 is July 16-17, 23-24, and 30-31. Both camps run from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. the next day. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
