• Camp HOPE is an annual event held by the ASPIRE Therapeutic Riding Program. Volunteers will become a group leader or a buddy assisting group leaders with 10 children within their group. Camp HOPE takes place August 4-8 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 a.m. and is held at the National Cattle Congress. Volunteers age 14 and over are welcome.
• The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cedar Valley needs individuals to assist with overnight campouts. Boys Session 2 is August 5-6 and 12-13, and Girls Session 2 is August 6-7 and 13-14. Both camps run from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. the next day. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• Community-Based Big Brothers, Big Sisters or Couples are needed to share time with a child age 6-13 out in the community at least twice a month. Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• Birthright needs individuals to assist as office volunteers to perform free pregnancy tests, help connecting to resources in the community, and to plan constructively for their own future and that of their child. Opportunities are available Monday through Friday. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
