1. Why did you decide to run for office?

I am running for Congress out of a sense of duty to my children, to my community and to my country. The U.S. Government is facing the most foreseeable financial catastrophe in the history of our nation with our national debt. And yet, in the face of this looming catastrophe, the current generation of leaders has failed to act. As a dad to three little girls, I will act. I will offer Eastern Iowans the chance for a better future.

2. What issues do you want to address if elected?

The national debt, a stagnant economy shackled with oppressive regulations and the incorrect philosophy that the federal government is the best medicine.

3. Why should voters choose you over your opponents in this race?

My opponent and I agree on many of the issues and solutions to the issues facing our great nation. I believe that I am in the best position to defeat Congressman Braley. It doesn’t matter who we nominate in our party if they can’t win. I am a conservative who can win.

4. What is your background?

I am a small-business attorney. My political philosophy is derived from our founding documents, among them the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and The Federalist Papers. These documents provide me with the overall framework for analyzing, prioritizing, and deciding U.S. policy and legislation.

Today, we have established one of Iowa's best organizational and financial campaign infrastructures. This is a campaign the people can believe in.
