1. Why did you decide to run for office?
I am seeking re-election to the board of supervisors to continue on with the seven year plan that this current board has implemented, in regards to rebuilding our county infrastructure and continue improving the county's finacial status. I will continue to use my valuable governmental experience and my common sense approach when spending tax dollars. Fiscally sound planning today produces a stronger tomorrow for all of Black Hawk County.
2. What issues do you want to address if elected?
Continue to rebuild our county infrastructure (roads, bridges, and buildings) which has been so much neglected over the years, while still mantaining being fiscally responsible to the taxpayers. Taxes has and will always be a top prioity with me. We have too many households on fix incomes which makes it tough to make ends meet, let alone pay higher taxes.
