Photos: Students Get Out the Vote at UNI's VoterPalooza
VoterPalooza at the University of Northern Iowa featured student activism and encouraged students to vote.
At the University of Northern Iowa Student Government's VoterPalooza Thursday, one sign, created by the Faculty Senate, said it all:
"Voting isn't rocket science! Just do it."
The overriding message, as students stopped to talk to representatives of both Republican and Democratic campaigns, was simple: no matter which candidates you like, make sure your voice is heard.

Besides tables representing various candidates and campaigns, student organizations also shared their messages with VoterPalooza participants.
Student government organizers said they handed out over 250 meals to students at the event, and by the end of the night they had collected a hefty stack of completed voter registration forms.
