Waterloo Man Killed in Accident Involving Cedar Falls Woman

Greg Kollmann, 24, of Waterloo, was killed in a car accident at the corner of Kimball Avenue and Schrock Road in Waterloo early Friday morning.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office reported Kollmann's vehicle collided with a car driven by Debra Cook, 51, of Cedar Falls at around 2:13 a.m. May 4.

The sheriff's office said Kollmann was thrown from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cook was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.

No citation was issued, as Kollmann reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign.
