Weird Iowa: Stuffed Anteaters, Ferrets for John Mellencamp, Nuisance Geese and Ghost of Michele Bachmann

You never know where our Weird Iowa feature will lead week-to-week. This week we've landed on several stories of weird animals.

Let's start in Cedar Falls, where University of Northern Iowa's museum is slated to close at the end of the month. Cedar Falls Patch Local Editor Alison Gowans captured photos of some of the  items in the collection, including many of the interesting-looking animals that are part of Iowa's history.
