What University Avenue Changes Would You Like?

The city council will pay for part of a study concerning the reconstruction of the busy cross-town road.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports
the city council last week approved a cooperative agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation, the city of Waterloo and the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments to create a plan to improve University Avenue.

The Courier reported:

Funds for the estimated $108,869 study are from the surface transportation program provided through INRCOG and the Metropolitan Planning Organization. The federal money will account for 80 percent of the cost. Cedar Falls and Waterloo will split the remaining 20 percent, with each city paying $10,887.
